President Trump’s Press Conference – 17 February 2017

President Trump’s full press conference today was a strong and forceful statement on the state of his presidency so far.

He listed his accomplishments to date. Response has been all over the place. The press is miffed that he is choosing to call on people who do not hate him, and compare him to Hitler.

While he was not my choice for president, I voted for him. Rather I voted against [Hillary Clinton(https://infogalactic.com/info/Hillary_Clinton)] for a number of reasons. Most because I believed that she would keep her promise to continue the Fundamental Change of Barack Obama.

I like the United States the way it is. Imperfect, certainly improvable. Not in need of fundamental change. With Trump we have a possibility (however slim) of maintaining the things that make America unique. Self reliance, individual freedom, and the idea that rights are inherit, and do not come from government.
